Five Berlin walks a corgi approves of
- Tempelhofer Feld. Endless space, dog areas, and the best sunsets. Bring water in summer, there is little shade.
- Grunewald. Big forest with an off-leash area. Joy comes back looking like a small sandy loaf.
- Schlachtensee. A loop around the lake is about 5 km, perfect for a long weekend walk. Busy on hot days.
- Tiergarten. Classic city walk. Squirrels are a serious distraction.
- Volkspark Friedrichshain. Hills! Short legs, maximum effort, very proud corgi at the top.
General rule for corgis: go slower than you think, take breaks, and avoid too many jumps — their backs will thank you.
